  • Summary: As Spider-Man, players must master new combo moves as they protect the city of Manhattan from the nefarious Doc Ock and other classic Marvel villains by swinging, jumping and wall-crawling through 19 new levels that extend beyond the film. Featuring an unprecedented depth of gameplay, players experience original storylines and battle through graphically rich 3D environments. Swing, climb and web-sling through interactive 3D environments while experiencing scenarios, settings and characters based on the hit film and others that are exclusive to the game. In addition to Doc Ock, gamers must battle a plethora of characters in Spider-Man's legendary Rogue's Gallery of villains, such as Mysterio, Rhino, Shocker and Vulture. Utilizing the graphical power of the PSP, Spider-Man 2 delivers amazing console-like 3D graphics and incredibly immersive gameplay never before seen in a handheld Spider-Man game. Beyond Spider-Man's signature set of moves which include wall crawling, web yanking and capture webbing, Spider-Man 2 PSP brings a host of new moves to the handheld such as the "cocoon," "web net" and "heavy web ball." 1. Gorgeous graphics, solid gameplay, and a wonderful audio track make this version of Spider-man 2 a winner. This is one game that gamers deserve to see on the PSP, simply because of the “wow” factor.
  2. A fun adventure title that gamers will enjoy. It's a nice, straight forward game that has some good graphics and cut scenes from the movie.
  3. While it’s nowhere as deep in terms of gameplay as its home console big brother, the PSP version of Spider-Man 2 is a pretty exciting effort.
  4. 70
Spider-Man looks great on the PSP, no doubt about it. However, the thugs he encounters along the way suffer from low polygon counts and limited animations.
  5. The whole experience is far too short, the gameplay’s underwhelming, and other than the rendered scenes, the graphics seldom look better than a Dreamcast game.
  6. Levels are too short; controls leave something to be desired.
  7. On the minus side, they seem to think that Mary Jane Watson is extremely chubby, and that Peter Parker doesn't in fact look like Tobey Maguire - instead, he looks like the bizarre love child of Maguire and Jerry Seinfeld. It's a striking image, and one that may just haunt your nightmares for some time to come.

Good game. Whats the matter with people complaining over it not being like the console games. Its psp, it has to be a little different. and its just like spiderman for playstation 2. That wasnt a bad game. for a portable system thats a good accomplishment. Expand

I loved this game. graphics are great concidering its for a handheld system. the combinations are pretty good. the villians are fun and sometimes tricky but the only bad part is that the game ends to quickly. If you can do much more it would be a 10 out of 10. Expand

Quite fun but did miss the freedom of the console games. Visually great, sound is atmospheric and good boss battles make for a solid but short game.

Its ok, but just feels abit mediocre compared to its console dad. Its ok, but feels like crap because its so repetitive. No where near as good as playing as spiderman in Marvel Ultimate alliance. Expand
