At the end of the day, UEFA Euro 2008 feels a bit too much like the previous FIFA installation than most will probably appreciate.
  2. It just doesn't have enough of its own identity to make it a necessity.
  3. A real European Champion. If only we could say the same about England.
  4. The big question hanging over Euro 2008 is if it's worth its price tag, given that it's essential a tweaked FIFA 08 and FIFA 09 is only a few months away? The core gameplay has been tweaked enough to make FIFA 08 feel slightly dated, but chances are FIFA 09 will improve on this even further.
  5. UEFA Euro 2008 doesn't convince us. The old gamestyle, technical bugs and the lack of the Dutch team made us unsatisfied. If you are looking for a good soccergame, we suggest you either take FIFA 08 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, which should even be lower in price by now.
  6. Compared to the PC-version, the PSP-version seemed to have been worked on a little longer and even though I really missed the be-a-pro mode the instead featured mini-games really made for a good compensation - at least considering it’s a mobile game. So if you really want to win the European Soccer Championship on your way to school or work you won’t make a mistake by getting Euro 2008!
  7. See this game as version 1.1 of FIFA 08, but focused on the UEFA European Championship, and as a nice taste of things to come in the next edition of FIFA.

I bought this game when it released, and had high hopes for it, but was simply disappointed. Was expecting there to be more teams, and the commentary was pretty bad. Full Review »
