  1. The game's a blast just like it was on the home consoles, and while the graphics will make you think you have glaucoma and other parts had to be removed to get everything else to fit, it's an acceptable trade-off to be able to sink in an arm-in guillotine choke on Brock Lesnar when you're waiting for your special ladyfriend at the grocery store.
  2. Cheat Code Central
There is plenty of content in this portable version of UFC 2010 Undisputed, but the lack of a proper online mode does do some harm to the replay value.
  3. Ultimately there is every likelihood that UFC fans will be able to put up with these frustrations and in turn find the portable UFC title they had hoped for. The more casual audience however, might not be quite so patient.
  4. UFC Undisputed 2010 is by far one of the most solid MMA games ever to hit a portable console.
  5. UFC Undisputed 2010 for the PSP is a solid porting of one of our highest rated sports games of the year. Sure, some downgrades have been made like the overall graphic quality and omission in-game commentary, but were it counts, UFC Undisputed 2010 gets it right.
  6. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of UFC Undisputed 2010 on the PSP.
  7. At $40, it's impossible to recommend the PSP version of UFC Undisputed 2010. With some retailers charging that much for the console version brand-new, it's ridiculous to pay the same price for a vastly inferior version of it. In its present form, it's just a poor rendition of a fantastic game.
  8. Hardware issues aside, this is as close to a perfect port as we are likely to get on a handheld and is by far the best MMA experience you'll find in portable form.

Essentially there's very little to whinge about with UFC Undisputed 2010 on the PSP – it's easier to play than its bigger brothers so provides a nice entry point into the genre, yet experienced MMA gamers will appreciate the depth and being able to take their fighting on the road.

Really, beyond the obvious presentational issues, all that keeps Undisputed's portable edition from going toe-to-toe with its console counterpart is online multiplayer
  11. Despite the extensive options that make UFC Undiputed 2010 for the PSP almost as meaty as its console counterpart, the game has its flaws that prevent it from being as great on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
  12. MMA fans who game on the go will be satisfied with UFC 2010. Those owning the console version, however, need not even worry about it.

UFC Undisputed 2010 doesn't make for the best portable game, but if you really liked the home edition you should check it out.
  14. Despite there being an incredible amount of content in UFC Undisputed 2010 on the PSP, the actual in-ring action is a bit of a work in progress.

Not quite incredible, but throws a mean right hook with some nice ideas. [Issue#231, p.97]
  16. It's a frustrating game because of the technical issues. The core game remains as solid as ever but unless you have the patience to wait for the game to load at every turn it's a very tough sell. As a result I can't fully recommend it but I do encourage those UFC fans that want an authentic mixed martial arts experience to buy UFC Undisputed 2010 for Xbox 360 or PS3.
  17. For fans of the sport, and those adept at fighting titles looking for a new beat 'em up, UFC Undisputed 2010 is about as detailed a representation of MMA as they could hope for on a handheld.
  18. A mere shell of a game compared to its bigger and better console versions. But that doesn't make it a weakling. Solid gameplay and a decent collection of modes will please fans of the sport that take it on the go, despite some presentation inaccuracies.

The tactical complexity in the fighting is much higher than in other games of the genre and wild button pushing will not take you any further.

UFC Undisputed 2010 is good, and MMA fans should give it a look –- but be wary if you played it four months ago on the other systems.

As good as this game is, it just feels slightly numb on the small screen.
  22. Play UK
It's still a neat little package, though, offering everything you need from a portable brawler. [Issue#197, p.96]

Yuke's MMA fighter makes the leap from PS3 to handheld with impressively little loss of content. [Issue#51, p.118]
  24. Whilst you are probably going to have to install it to your memory card if you want the best experience and there are a few flaws, such as the questionable crowd sounds, if you're a fan of the UFC games this is pretty much made for you.
  25. Jan 14, 2011
Despite being a solid fighting game for a portable platform, it's unfortunate to see such a barebones version of Undisputed, in comparison to the console versions.
  26. 70
At the end of the day UFC Undisputed 2010 is certainly not a bad game, it just lacks a lot of what makes the console version so special.
