  1. As long as you're not looking for the game that topples FIFA, then you're sure to have a ball with World Tour Soccer 2006. As they sometimes say, some games aren't for everyone but this game is definitely meant for all.
  2. It's not a game for footie purists by any means, but if you want a fast-paced and entertaining match -- and one you can play with friends who don't all need to own the disc -- this is it.
  3. A breath of fresh air and break from some of the sim soccer games out on the market.
  4. Those looking for a realistic soccer simulation may wish to look elsewhere, but those looking for an entertaining skill-based arcade title that uses soccer as a backdrop will find this title both entertaining and challenging.
  5. 70
Visually, however, it stumbles terribly, as it's not a particularly good-looking game, although its framerate could be a lot worse.
  6. While it's possible to just dive in with the traditional play mechanic of score-as-many-goals-as-you-can-in-90-minutes, the game's central dynamic demands a little more effort from those looking for victory.
  7. 40
It just isn't any fun. The diving and the multiplayer are amusing for a short time, but after that you'll be left wondering why you didn't buy "Pro Evo 5" instead. [Issue 142, p.95]

I must addmitt that i'm not a massive fifa fan, but World tour soccer 2, this cuts the mustard. Its simple to pick up, the controlls are simple and effictive (once i remember which buttons where the dilleberate dive, and stopped gettin all me players booked) its a pleasure to play. Being on the psp some camera angles for corners and free kicks are a bit distant, but over all the graphics are good. Commentry is rather annoying me thinks but again overall the sound is good. You earn or lose points in the game for things like good passing or tackelling and bad tackelling and passing, which is sort of novel and so far hasn't become annoying instead it makes me wanna play better and adds to the football game well. If you love football not sure about the barrage of Fifa games out there, then try this one. You just might like it. Expand
