While it might not be up to the visual caliber of the current era of RPGs, it is a flexible and resourceful title that can bring forth an experience unlike any other - as long as you're willing to fork over the time commitment.
If you ever wanted to make your own "Final Fantasy," and you've got enough patience and free time, then you MUST buy this game!
If you have the time, patience, and inclination to build your own RPGs but don't know how to program yourself, then RPG Maker is the perfect solution.
I'm glad it's finally here, and I can't wait to hear about the wild adventures you create!
If you have some vision, creative ambition, and a whole lot of time on your hands, RPG Maker just may be the game for you.
Too difficult for all but the most dedicated creators, and even they may find themselves frustrated by the program's constraints.
