Torrente has a few things working against it, the least of which is the fat, balding, middle-aged, ass that is the star of the game. That fat dork is the best thing about the game. What does that tell you?
This exotic pedigree gives Torrente the game an air of intrigue that eclipses the final product, which turns out to be a typically rotten movie-licensed budget shooter.

Es posiblemente una de las joyas audiovisuales más representativas e importantes y posiblemente uno de los peaks del arte del ser humano, un historia llena de emociones conmovedoras y desgarradoras que realmente te dejan los ojos cristalinos incluso soltando alguna lagrima de la cual no te arrepentiras de soltar;la narrativa es excelente con unos diálogos de categoría y una jugabilidad digna de un zelda o incluso superior a ella, las misiones secundarias son completas historias que hacen ponerte en los zapatos del protagonista "José Luis Torrente" en las que pondrás todas las emociones que conozcas e incluso algunas que ni conocías ya que tambien es un viaje auto inmersivo en el que te hará replantearte y filosofar sobre tu propia vida.
Ha sido una de las experiencias más memorables que me hubiera imaginado y recordare este juego durante toda mi vida, espero dejárselo a mis hijos de herencia para que sepan lo que realmente es la felicidad después de tal viaje de filosofía adelantado a su epoca y de la historia de la humanidad.
Gracias a cada desarrollador que ha participado en crear semejante experiencia.

It’ll bore you to tears in about 20 minutes.
It's a slow-paced shooter with shoddy AI, dated graphics and a frustrating design. Even though it's good for a few irreverent laughs, it's not worth paying for, even in the bargain bin.
'Torrente' may just be a new Spanish word for ‘terrible’.
The controls in Torrente are hideous. Sluggish control of the character, whether that be in 1st or 3rd person mode, is constantly apparent.
If the gameplay was incredibly fun, or the graphics fantastic, then perhaps playing basically the same mission over and over again for ten hours could have been bearable, or even mildly entertaining. Torrente, by comparison, was more like pulling teeth.
Ya son casi 20 años desde que jugué a esta maravilla en mi PC con Windows XP. Me lo terminé sin saber quien era Torrente porque soy chileno. Ahora con los streamers españoles me enteré de quién era. En fin, viva Chile, viva España y ojalá hagan que se desuscriba de la vida el coletas y la feminancy de Irene Montero.

Este juego es una ENORME BASURA como casi todo lo que tocan los españoles (arruinan doblajes, economías de otros países, etcétera), los que digan que es buen juego son nacionalistas ciegos xD
Bueno ni sé porque esperé algo bueno, si las películas de Torrente son horribles, y ni son promocionadas en México, me enteré solo por los foros y algunos youtubers españoles.
