An outstanding Real Time Strategy game disguised as a sports sim that is a pleasant surprise.
It's the best chapter of a saga that has had quality issues since its very inception. Still, it'll please hardcore fans of the sport, even if it's not really entertaining in most of its aspects.
In spite of itself, it conveys and rewards a love for the sport. [Sept 2015, p.89]
Despite its poor graphic, Tour de France 2015 has some strategic depths that may appeal to fans of the world's most prestigious cycling race.
Tour de France 2015 is too average to satisfy cycling fans. In spite of significant progress, the bulk of work remains to be done in order to make it essential among sports games.
It's not especially fun, but at least it's not utterly broken like last year's attempt. Those tempted should buy in the knowledge that you'll get exactly what you expect, and no reality-busting glitches or road-praising crowds.
