Like NHL SLAPSHOT, it has enough fun modes and incentives to keep you playing for a long time. FIFA City and Manager Mode are great. You can now customize your formations and tactics (new this time). The Wii version of FIFA 12 has found a comfortable and attractive niche in terms of appearance: not realstic, but players are recognizable without many jagged edges. As for the gameplay, it's solid (with a classic controller). Chips, crosses, and through passes are responsive as you and your player skill allow. FIFA 12 for Wii clearly pails in comparison with the other console versions, but it is a very good soccer game with worthy upgrades...now if only PES would stop sitting on it's laurels. Expand

As stated before, FIFA Soccer 12 is a solid game for Nintendo's console but only if you haven't played last year's version.

The Street sideshow adds value, but the actual football is well below that of 360/PS3. [Dec 2011, p.91]

This game is packed with little goals, and as you achieve them your city flourishes and levels up. Leveling up grants you access to the new Intercity Cup, a tournament in which you try to prove your city's supremacy over the surrounding computer-controlled cities. [Oct 2011, p.86]
