  1. It is a bit of a waste of the Wii’s capabilities though, and if you have a DS it may be worth picking up that version as it seems much more suited to a handheld.
  2. It's harmless, but hardly worth bothering with. [May 2008, p.74]
  3. It is quite a poor game, mainly due to the longevity though being a budget title – I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece.
  4. George of the Jungle is basic at its best and irritatingly flawed at its worst, relying almost entirely on its license to sell to an audience perhaps unaware of the genre’s past glories.
  5. The 2.5D graphics are quite nice and it captures the character and environment well, but overall we can only really recommend this to parents who want to shut their kids up for five minutes.
  6. George of the Jungle is a poor effort that, while looking fairly good and staying true to the style of the TV show, features derivative, repetitive gameplay, coupled with such poor controls and such a ridiculously high difficulty that it's rendered almost unplayable.
  7. George of the Jungle may be aimed at young children, and their requirements may be different from that of a videogame reviewer, but this is just nothing more than sloppy.

It's not funny and it's not fun to play. If the developers had simply fine tuned the collision detection it probably would have been fine.
  9. A stupid game that's designed to trick parents into picking this up for their young children. Even if you're one such parent buyer, please do not buy this for your kids.
  10. Go away, George of the Jungle, and die horribly in a fire.

I like the show and I had fun with this game. It was an old school platformer. It was easy to pick up and has good mechanics. Graphic is just like how the cartoon show is. I like it. Full Review »

nintendo has stooped to a new low. Well... I guess it wasn't as bad as balls of fury for wii, but the game should hv been made for an ages 3-and up handheld game that you buy at a gas station. It was pretty bad, but if you happen to not have any choice between this and Anubis three, ninjabread man, balls of fury, jenga, and WW2 aces, go for this. every other game however is probably better.
