  1. Ghostbusters is a fantastic game, and definitely what I was hoping for when I first saw those initial screenshots a while back.
  2. Ghostbusters fans will finally get a game worth looking at. It did take a while, but it is finally here. If you aren’t a fan of Ghostbusters, don’t worry. This title will be considered one of the better games for the Nintendo Wii, and anyone will have fun busting ghosts once again.
  3. The controls also lend themselves nicely to Nintendo's quirky hardware; honestly, it's like the Wiimote was made for stunning, wrangling and trapping paranormal menaces.
  4. On the whole, Ghostbusters is an impressive production most fans should eat up. We had a fun time with the game, though we were also left with serious reservations due to glitching that might cause less-experienced gamers to hang up their proton packs well before the journey ends.

one of the very best games on the wii. great local multiplayer. fantastic story (of course!), great acting, great sounds, good graphics, really REALLY fun! wish it was a bit more freeform, but still a really fun game. one of only 3 local multiplayer fps games for the wii (well htere are others if you include a couple of not really fps games), all released just recently, including water warfare and spectrobes. I own all three and am loving them. not the greatest fps in the world, but unique, original (in it's old 80s movie story way), and by FAR the best ghostbusters game to ever come around (I've tried others in the past). seriously fun for single and double players. My son and I have had nothing but fun playing this game. I bought the movies a few years back and when the game came out we had to try it. We haven't beaten the game yet but we have enjoyed every hour we've spent playing. I see reviews stating that it can be beaten quickly, I haven't seen that myself. If you and your nine year old are looking to laugh and have fun together you must have this game. Expand

Graphics: The visual style lends itself very well to the story and feel of the gameplay. I've played the PS3 counterpart and though not technically as sophisticated, I enjoyed the Wii's graphical presentation more. The characters and boss designs are each level has its own look which over the course of the game takes you to many fun locations. Gameplay: The controls work well. I didn't run into any major technical issues. The variety of ghost-busting equipment is very good and all lend themselves to puzzles you'll encounter. Presentation: The level design is fun with a good mixture of playforming, puzzles, shooting, etc. The cutscenes to a good job of connecting the levels. My only real gripe is the misuse of the Ghostbusters theme song. There are plenty of opportunites to plug it in the game to really puncuate the end of a scene or even the game. However, it never really gets going until the end credits. Expand
