  • Summary: The Ice Age is ending and our subzero heroes return in this action adventure video game set in a melting paradise of water parks, geysers and tar pits. Manny the Mammoth, Sid the Sloth and Diego the Sabre-Toothed Tiger are back and realize that the melting glaciers will soon flood their valley. Fans will be able to play as their favorite characters from the film, along with everyone’s favorite sabre-toothed squirrel, Scrat, and embark on a mission across an increasingly dangerous landscape towards their salvation from a huge glacial dam that is about to break, threatening to flood the entire valley. 1. Ice Age 2: The Meltdown is a really fun game, but it is held back by one major flaw: its length. It takes only a couple of hours to beat this game if you have any gameplay experience.
  2. A decent, simple platform game that will probably keep any younger fans of the film quiet for a good few hours. [Feb 2007, p.63]
  3. The motion controls don't fundamentally change this movie-licensed platformer, but they don't get in the way either, and the adventure is still a breezily fun one.
  4. The Meltdown is fun, and it makes good use of the Wii’s motion-sensitive controller. If you’re an Ice Age fan or a platformer fan that doesn’t mind a short game versus an engrossing epic, then it’s hard to go wrong.

Graphics are very good but sometimes the camera angles are awkward and don't show you all you need or want to see. Fun but there isn9;t much to it and it gets boring pretty quickly Expand
