The game is offering a unique style and a new concept. But Kirby's Epic Yarn is too easy to get a 90+ rating.

A cute and charming platformer that is much more forgiving than its Nintendo-comrade New Super Mario Bros. The unique setting provides plenty of surprises and new takes on classic platforming elements, especially in the first couple of hours, and the game is certainly fun. However, there's not a lot of challenge here, and not a lot of discovery or secrets to keep the longevity after you reach the finish line.

  1. You do not need difficulty to have a good time. This game removes the idea of rushing and frustration and concentrates on the idea of classic platforming game, and innovative uses of buttons and yarns. It's a masterpiece when you think deeply about it. Expand
  2. 8.5/10 = Great!! = A flawed, but fun platformer.
  3. I didnt enjoy this game as much as others did, but it is top quality. The visuals are amazing and the gameplay variety is staggering. My problem? Its WAY to easy. You cant die and there isnt much satisfaction in mastering levels. Buy it for your kids, or yourself if you want a great game but you find other games too challenging. Expand
  4. I bought this game hoping for a fun for the whole family Kirby game. But when I first started playing this game I realized that this game was made for 5 year olds. The game is too easy with cut scenes that sound like they're being narrated by Dr. Suess. Also the only thing Kirby about this game is Kirby himself. There are no copy abilities, you can't suck things up, and you can't fly. I really tried to enjoy this game but it just wasn't fun. Expand
