  1. A big, noisy, dumb racer. Terrific fun! [Issue#20, p.89]
  2. Untamed is one of the best offroad racing games on the Wii and is well worth playing, or at least trying if you haven't experienced this genre before.
  3. Trying to shoehorn a 360/PS3 game onto the Wii is like getting a Super Model to woof down a 10-pound ham. What comes out the other side just isn't pretty. Still tastes okay though! [Dec 2007, p.66]

The physics system is going to be a bit too floaty for some, but those looking for a less sim-like experience will find it entertaining enough. It’s a first-gen game for Wii though, so expect things to get much, much better in the future.

Certain things are great about this game. I like the new tracks, new tricks, and overall, I'm quite entertained. Other things are slightly annoying.

    1) The AI riders all seem to ride about .5 seconds apart. You either take 1st or 8th.

    2) No matter which control method I use, I can't seem to find one that allows me to make a more controlled turn. I find myself shooting off to the left or right of the track a LOT coming out of turns because the controller input.
