  1. For the majority of Wii owners, I suspect this will prove simply too dry and convoluted to really catch on.
  2. games(TM)
Dedicated genre fans, meanwhile, will find that the concessions in the gameplay – pre-highlighted hot spots and rumble hints – are both insulting to their intelligence and at odds with the entire point of the adventure genre. [June 2008, p.123]
  3. If you can forgive its failings you'll unearth a good Da Vinci Code-style detective story that should keep you going for a weekend at the very least.
  4. AceGamez
There are problems, but fans of the genre will be able to look past these imperfections and see that this is a far superior game to Agatha Christie. But even so, this is still an average game, especially when compared to the best of the Wii library.
  5. Players who enjoy the adventure genre in its most traditional format will likely be pleased with Secret Files: Tunguska, but my take is that this type of approach is simply past its time.
  6. Official Nintendo Magazine UK
Progress can be slow - laborious, even - but you very rarely feel cheated. [June 2008, p.82]
  7. Nintendo Gamer
The genre's as old as the hills, and moust pointer to remote pointer is hardly a great leap. [July 2008, p.59]
  8. Much of the story is kept until the end, with the rest mostly speculation from characters as to what is really going on, forcing you to play through to get more dirt on the mystery as it builds up.
  9. While it's true that Secret Files: Tunguska does get one or two brownie points for being in what’s currently a very sparsely populated genre on the Wii, the fact that it’s so middling in just about every respect hardly justifies a purchase.
  10. 71
It delivers a solid gaming experience that will at no point blow you away but will chug along nicely for about ten hours, and so will probably deliver your moneys worth.
  11. n-Revolution Magazine UK
    It's good, standard adventuring. [Issue#22, p.80]

Bought the Wii version, just to see if its any different. It´s not - and thats actually good. Excellent story, very humorous and entertaining and most important: logical from the beginning. No stupid trial and error combination orgies, everything works as it is supposed to. Full Review »
