  1. Its target audience will find a lot to like in the game since the Wiimote helps make the game more interactive and user-friendly, despite some of the limited shortcomings.
  2. I'll give em this: It's never boring, always whacked out of its mind, and the control throughout delivers...Nunchuk or not. So in closing, may the Sponge be with you. [Dec. 2006, p.62]

It’s one of the better SpongeBob games to date. But if you’re not a fan, you’ll have a harder time seeing its good qualities.
  4. By allowing players to employ the motion-sensing controller in a bevy of unique ways, the title has a lot in common with "Wii Sports." Unfortunately many modes feel either underdeveloped, ho-hum, or both--also like "Wii Sports."
  5. Aside from being just a tad too repetitive and too long, the platform levels are well-presented and plenty of fun.
  6. This is the same licensed platform stuff people have been playing for years. [Jan 2007, p.77]

The game itself is average. The controls don’t do enough to make the game stand out. The extras and bonus features are pointless.
