  1. Tiger Woods is still the king of golf. More than ever, the strength of this episode on Wii is its ability, year after year, to fit to any player, from casual to hardcore.
  2. The graphics look quite dated and there's not much progress in comparison to the predecessor. However, the main game-elements still work well and the controls are very intuitive.

If you're the kind of person who likes to wear corduroy then Tiger Wood's PGA Tour 11 may just be the game for you.
  4. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 really feels like a fresh new game, and can easily be recommended to everyone, even if you own Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10.
  5. Though I thought Tiger Woods PGA Tour would never be better than it was last year, I was proven wrong once I spent some time with this year's version. The new swing types more than make the game worth the purchase, and all the game modes will provide hours upon hours of playtime.

Golf nuts of any level – from armchair to aspiring pros – will love what Wii team has done for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011.
  7. If you have a passing interest in the world of golf, I highly suggest checking out Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11. It's definitely the best entry yet in the series, and golf fans shouldn't pass it up.
  8. Tiger 11 gets the balance between a full-on sports sim and playful swingabout spot on. Disc Golf gets an online mode and there's also a new mini golf mode which adds a selection of wacky putting courses for you to navigate. This is great fun in multi-player mode.
  9. Woods on the Wii is the definitive experience. If you're looking for a game of golf that plays like a game of golf, this is as close as you can possibly get.
  10. Due to the new features like the arcade modes and the first person view I can recommend this game even for owners of the former Tiger Woods PGA Tour game. The only weakness are the ugly 2D spectators, but that's just a detail.
  11. The Wii edition of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 is simply outstanding. You really can't beat the improved sensitivity of the Wii-MotionPlus added in with the True View 1st person feature, it's a win, win, that will please any fan of the sport.
  12. It is undoubtedly the best golf simulation available on all platforms: it makes a masterful use of the Motion Plus and offers a whole lot of content, and even if it's basically the same game as last year, every golf addicted should pick it up.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 wont be for everyone. But if you think you're a player off the course and don't mind getting your balls deep in the rough, go grab your Wii-mote and head for the eighteenth. Because Woods on the Wii is one of the most authentic golfing experiences you're going to get – without writing off your Sundays.
  14. Tiger Woods' latest Wii outing is another great golf sim that adds a number of subtle refinements to its already fantastic swing mechanics.
  15. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 is a fine addition to the series. While the additions here are marginal, the actual mechanics of the game still benefit greatly from the Wii MotionPlus attachment, making for the best golfing game you're likely to find this year.
  16. Combining the progress made with the WiiMotion Plus peripheral with an expanded online footprint, five new courses, four courses of actual mini-golf, and more, Tiger 11 is a full-fledged game with a motion-based swing and not just a slight curiosity.
  17. PGA Tour 11 is is a great golf simulator with fantastic swing mechanics.
  18. With a huge range of options and new features Tiger Wood PGA Tour 11 is playable by everybody. The features of Nintendo Wii make it the ultimate golf simulator for those who are looking for a real challenge. On the other side, when in arcade mode, most of its playability goes lost, and if it's a casual experience you're looking for, you'd better stick with Wii Sports.
  19. The Career mode is virtually unchanged from last year's game outside of the Ryder Cup.

All in all, Tiger Woods 11 is a great choice for fans of the sport, and a good time is guaranteed whether the player is a golf buff or a complete newcomer to the sport.
  21. If you have played any previous Tiger Woods games or play real golf and want something to play in the winter I would recommend this installment.
  22. This version of Tiger Woods seems to have become something of a victim of its own success and the result is that the game is very, very similar to that of last years game.

If you've found yourself unsatisfied with golf offerings on the PS3 and 360 in recent years, give this one a shot. It might not have the graphical polish of the other consoles, but you won't find a better pure golfing experience.
  24. For the causal or first time gamer, I will warn you that there is quite the learning curve to this year's game, but the payoff is huge, especially in the created golfer realm.

It still blows my mind that the most hardcore golfing experience in video games today is found on the console universally decried as being too "kiddie" but that is the stone cold truth.

The first-person mode is a nice addition, but will probably work much better on graphically superior, newly-motion-controlled hardware, where the horizon is clearly visible. [Aug 2010, p.114]
  27. Nintendo Power
Though Tiger's reputation may be tarnished, his video game has never been better. [July 2010, p.85]
  28. Nintendo Gamer
Fully featured and complex, this could well keep you busy until next year's game. [July 2010, p.64]
  29. Games Master UK
Toughie, this. Plump for Wii for gameplay but PS3 and 360 if you're into visuals/online. [Aug 2010, p.92]
