  1. Wonder World Amusement Park is a game that I had hoped would be good, however with sub-par graphics, varying quality of sound, and somewhat simple and repetitive gameplay, I can’t help but have difficulty recommending this game to most out there.
  2. Almost every aspect of the game, from premise to execution, is highly derivative and substantially lacking. The for-the-whole-family appeal is certainly present, but your money is better spent taking the gang out to experience the real thing.
  3. With its repetitive, pedestrian amusement-park games and nearly lifeless presentation, Wonder World Amusement Park completely fails to amuse.
  4. Sometimes a game is just no fun, this is one of those times.

This game was a good idea, but very poorly presented. The main premise is that you are in an amusement park that is divided into sections (like Disney or Busch Gardens) and you must play certain carnival games to earn tickets and advance. At the end of each world, there is a "ride" you can go on which isn't even a game; you just sit there and watch a ride. Then you get to move on to the next section of the park and do that all over again. The problem is, most of the minigames are nothing you haven't seen before or they were extremely unforgiving. One of the games consisted of you dragging an object along a certain path, but if you even flinched and slightly went off the track you would have to start over again. It was extremely frustrating and forced me to turn off my Wii and pop in something better. This game is good if you have very young children (6 years old or less), however, steep, unforgiving, and boring gameplay and rewards will be unenjoyable to anyone who dares enter Wonder World Amusement Park.
