  • Summary: Your Shape is the first fitness game that comes with a camera peripheral included inside the box. Featuring Ubisoft's proprietary Body Tracking technology, the game scans your body and then project the image onto the TV, creating a personalized and interactive workout. Based on your specific body shape analysis, fitness level and personal goals, Your Shape is able to recommend the workout program that is best suited for you. The game also features a virtual coach that provides verbal and visual feedback on all of your movements, ensuring that each minute invested achieves maximum results. Always by your side, the coach motivates you to reach your goals. Because Your Shape has more exercises than any other fitness game, the workout routine is always fresh and exciting. Best of all, Your Shape allows you to get these benefits without holding a controller, leaving your hands free to incorporate any equipment that you may already own, without any excess bands or straps. The camera and Body Tracking technology follow your progress, showing you the tangible results of your hard work. [Ubisoft] Collapse

  1. The real test of any exercise game is whether it works. That's a pretty simple measure. Getting on a scale pretty much tells you everything you need to know. Over the month I've played with Your Shape, I have definitely lost a few pounds.
  2. Your Shape is more of a straight-up workout tool that you can use in unisons with a personal trainer, or going to the gym.
  3. Your Shape featuring Jenny McCarthy is a decent title, but it's in dire need of a shot in the arm. [Jan 2010, p.87]

This fitness game uses a camera instead of a Balance Board. Unfortunately this sounds a lot better in theory than that it turns out to be. Still Your Shape offers a lot opportunity's to get sweaty.
  5. 50
The included camera is a great idea, but Your Shape is loaded with lame workouts that probably won't get you off the couch.
