It's got a few issues and the fishing's mostly phoned in, but Outdoor Adventures may well be a decent option for aspiring woodsmen this season.
  2. A decent hunting adventure. [Dec 2009, p.77]
  3. While most of it seems like deja-vu, I was able to see an improvement from most of past Cabela games, especially that pathetic Dangerous Hunts game from last year. If I had a hunting game to recommend to someone that knows squat about hunting, give this one a try but don’t expect the greatest game of all time. Its fun while it lasts.

I don't understand why they bothered with fishing, it looks like they just slapped a poor excuse for a fishing simulation (maybe they had some Rapala game around there somewhere) over a pretty solid huning experience. They should have used that time to focus on missions (the game is a bit short) or more customization options for the player/weapons. Full Review »
