Action-RPG fans will certainly have fun with this release, although it's similar to the original, and if you're into thongs and "role-playing" then this game is a win-win.

This is certainly a game best enjoyed for its story, but only if you can appreciate Terry Goodkind or Monty Python as well as J.R.R. Tolkien.

If you enjoyed the first DeathSpank, you're gonna love Thongs of Virtue. It's just as addictive, just as pretty, and I dare say it's even a little funnier.

Sure, the poop gags are a little wearisome, but a sprinkling of the old Gilbert magic makes it a worthwhile ride.

  1. Very enjoyable game with enough side quests to choke a hog. It's a great weekend waster full of humor, although at the end I came away with less memorable quotes than I did with the original, hence the score of 8 rather than 9. Still a great little game. Expand
  2. To put it frankly this game is a total ripoff if you bought the first one. Why is that you ask? Because this is pretty much ghe first game, same enemies, same quest, he'll half the time the very same audio clips are used to introduce things. You are literally paying for the first game all over again. Which is sad because they could have used this one to fix up the flaws of the first and really make something out of it. In the end you get a total rehash, with reduced humor. A least you can half laugh at the same jokes. Expand
