Filled with a cast that will be familiar to long-time fans of the franchise, Digimon All-Star Rumble offers intriguing battle types that can be fun with friends, but sadly feels like it could have used a good bit more more development time.

Well coming from a long time Digimon fan I have to say this is about the worse Digimon game I've ever played PERIOD.

The game play is terrible, you've got your basic attacks which are OK in my book but the way the computer moves and the way the actual fighting goes on is bad indeed. The computer constantly counters, the fighting is a mixed bag at best and this is supposed to be the main part of the game.

The digimon do at least (in some cases) have their right voices which adds to the game but with only 12 characters to pick it's extremely disappointing (the first game had tons and the second had even more. What happened). They could have picked any from the six digimon seasons but nope we're stuck with this bunch.

The main game play modes are terrible too. You get your basic do as much damage as possible, timed, lives etc but you also get a mode with a bomb on your head which is totally random.

The story mode is barren as best. You go through adventure fields as your chosen digimon which are as deserted as the Sahara and you collect things and challenge random digimon to a fight on the field. You'll get your lower level grunts and then they will thrown you a random ultimate/mega level digimon which KO's you in a few hits. You then fight in actual matches with other digimon in the game but even then it's terrible.

I give this game a 1/10 rating, the hype over it and the let down which followed are terrible to deal with and I wouldn't reccomend this game on anyone.
