As much fun as Guitar Hero - and perfect for any party. The music is great, but we miss some more game modes.
  2. DJ Hero is the confident debut of a new musical videogame genre. If you are into the electronic music you will greatly enjoy this one.
  3. DJ Hero is an exciting and brilliantly realised package, and while it may not offer the fantastic co-op experience of some of its contemporaries, its slick gameplay and fantastic presentation make it a must-have title in an overcrowded genre.
  4. DJ Hero is simple to pick up and learn, but also difficult to master. I am yet to get a 100% score on Medium Difficulty, and I think I’m doing quite well.
  5. While not perfect, DJ Hero is still a worthy addition to the rhythm-action genre, bringing many fresh ideas to the table, but still not realizing its full potential through the absence of creation and freestyle elements.
  6. A well made title that even old farts can enjoy. From the quality set list, accessible turntable peripheral, and generally nicely implemented mechanics, there's a lot for any gamer to enjoy. On the downside, the multiplayer elements aren't nearly as convincing as they should be, making this a game you'll likely play alone.
  7. An interesting first game in the musical genre that tries something a little different. It's actually a nice little game that can be fun to play.

I ended up getting this game like a month late, but I LOVE this game. I don't play this game as much as DJ Hero 2 or the L4D games, but this game had some unforgettable tracks and loved how you get to choose your dj, venue, turntable, and etc. I'd recommend this to anyone, it's great fun. A very fun game if you really are into hip-hop, such as Mobb Deep, ODB, Jay-Z, Eminem etc. Though the game doesn't deliver to its fullest because of some poor mixes that sound bad. Rihanna's voice is after a while very tiring, and some of the rock songs doesn't fit in to the DJ-ing. The game may seem very easy on medium difficulty after a while, but brings a large struggle on the expert level. All in all, a good game where you and your friends can have days of fun. Expand
