  • Summary: In this epic multiplayer-focused game, players can choose to defend humanity as a part of the Global Defense Force (GDF) or destroy it as a merciless Strogg alien invader. Players battle as one of five unique classes in either the conventionally armed GDF army or the futuristic Strogg invasion force, each outfitted with specialist weapons and combat hardware. In this adrenaline pumping fight for survival, warring forces utilize a variety of different vehicles, deployable structures, and defense systems including quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for epic ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to unleash airborne attacks. Throughout each battle, teams establish bases, deploy defense structures, artillery, radar, and advanced forward-command systems into enemy territory while constructing and demolishing obstacles to speed progress and gain a tactical advantage over the opponent. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars features 16-player battles on the console systems, delivering the ultimate team-and objective-based multiplayer experience. [Activision/id Software] Expand

  1. Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars is a revolutionary online experience, a paradigm shift in tactical multiplayer game design, and the online game that the console world has been waiting for.
  2. While not without its foibles, Quake Wars on the Xbox 360 is a fine representation of last year's great PC game.
  3. Sadly, ET:QW looks like a good idea that wasn't properly fleshed out to meet that potential.
  4. 42
What would've otherwise been a fun multiplayer shooter is marred by a series of technical issues.

Great game, runs great on the 360!!
  3. Runs perfectly but somehow feels like a shell compared to the PC version. The controls are a little weird and I can't seem to figure out the aircraft controls. But otherwise a great game. Expand
  4. A game that will give me memories not like any other, addictive playing alone with the normal intelligent AI, though sometimes you feel like you have to do everything, but their smart enough to handle themselves in combat.. It feels like a destructive battlefield against the skills of teamwork from the opposite side. Though it gets repetitive and I took long breaks for while because it felt plain afterwards once I played it for too long.Overall experience of the game is amazing and it will forever be in my arsenal pack of video games.
