  1. Strikes a great balance between simplicity and flexibility. [Dec 2005, p.165]
  2. Its lack of variety in the game mode department will turn off those gamers who love the FIFA Soccer series but at least it plays well enough to keep soccer fans busy until next year’s game.
  3. For those wanting a fully featured franchise experience (with club teams) and a better set of online options, waiting for "FIFA 2007" might be the way to go.
  4. My biggest complaint about FIFA is its name. It simply isn’t a FIFA game, it should simply be called World Cup 06 or something that accurately describes it and distinguishes it from the game that EA wants you to believe it is when you’re buying it.
  5. It might come as a surprise, but I would actually have preferred a direct conversion of FIFA 06 to this.
  6. Unless you’ve got an urgent need to launder $60, there’s not a single reason to go out and buy FIFA 06 for the Xbox 360. Go out and by the far superior (and cheaper) FIFA 06 for the PS2 or Xbox – both versions are excellent.
  7. To describe what EA has produced here as dreadful would be to do a terrible disservice to things that merely inspire dread.

It is a Wonderful Game it has everything in it good graphics, Good gameplay, Good sound etc. People says it does not have enough modes in it. I ask you why do you need a manager mode in a World cup game you can't transfer players whats the point. Overall it's a fantastic game. Expand

This game looks awesome on the 360, the gameplay is great, and the roar of the crowd is amazing.

Good first effort - but the new FIFA that just released kills this one. Lack of teams and a rushed feel to the mechanics of the game make this rate a lot lower than other titles. Expand

I could waist more than an hour criticizing this game, instead my only commen will be what was EA thinking when they released this game? and also nice rip off by making us believe fifa 06 for 360 was the same for xbox. Expand

One of the worst games of soccer I've ever had the displeasure of playing. Truly awful. How they took an already iffy title like the Xbox version and muffed it up so badly for the 360, I have no idea. Horrible form. Expand
