Ken's Rage 2 doesn't diverge from the first game's structure, enriching it with many more playable characters and the new Legend story mode. If you are Hokuto No Ken fans and appreciated the first game, you will love Koei Tecmo's new title.

With its amount of content and covering the entire original story, Ken's Rage 2 is a sort of encyclopedia of Hokuto no Ken, making it a great choice for the hardcore fan of the series, but its flaws are just too evident for all other players.

It’s still nice to see Tecmo Koei making enhancements, even if the fundamental formula is a bit flat these days.

Even being quite repetitive, if you're a fan of the manga and the genre, then you'll probably find here what you're looking for. If you're not, you should try it before.
  5. Mar 13, 2013
Ken’s Rage 2 is a passable, sporadically enjoyable game that’s undermined by drab visuals and a campaign with a padded second-half.
  6. Feb 13, 2013
Tecmo Koei sometimes doesn't realize when it stumbles upon good ideas, and Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 abandons several gameplay elements of the original title that it didn't need to. The sequel will still satisfy fans that don't mind the Dynasty Warriors design while nostalgically revisiting the animation, but the game's vital points could have been much stronger.

There's no escaping the issue of this being a shameful followup to a genuinely great brawler. I like Koei, but I'm the first to admit it can cut corners wherever it feels able to get away with doing so -- and even for that particular studio, this is a notably substandard effort. Uglier, more boring, as stale as week-old French bread, Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 is best ignored by fans of both Dynasty Warriors and Hokotu no Ken alike.

This has to be one of my favorite 360 games! After beating the 'Ken's Rage 1' I was glad to see improved graphics, the characters and texture are much more detailed and the game features more varied locations. The story mode is a single cohesive experience that follows through every major detail form the original manga. Instead of playing multiple repetitive campaigns with different player this game is a single campaign that lets you choose which warrior you want to play as throughout the different story arc's. This game is a great refresher for old fans and can educate new fans in a much quicker and enjoyable way then reading the manga or watching hundreds of episodes of the anime. Now it is a Dynasty Warriors game so repetitive brawling is to be expected, the progression system has been changed and may take a moment to figure out but one you do its not bad, I do feel boss battles have been simplified but the game is still really enjoyable and it does have online or local co-op which is a blast! You fight against the same enemies 250 times. For the fans of the manga is boring and for
the people don´t know the manga a torture. Expand
