Hexic almost single-handedly kept out 360's from collecting cobwebs during the post-launch lull, and we still found ourselves firing it up when we don't have a time for a marathon "Oblivion" session or some "Fight Night" brawling. [Jun 2006, p.62]
Bastante entretenido y visualmente bien hecho. Tiene una banda sonora muy buena y es bastante adictivo, los sonidos son muy buenos. Tiene momentos de tension, lo cual hace que el juego sea interesante.
Reminiscent of the influential puzzle gaming sensation Bejeweled, Hexic HD is a solid, attractive puzzle game that comes freely preloaded onto the Xbox 360's hard drive.
At first, the design of Hexic HD seems a bit boring, but it´s not all about good graphics and story! Once you´re in the game, it becomes highly addictive. The challenging puzzles make your brain cells go nuts! Just check it out, it´s for free. You won´t regret it!
I think it's a good game for killing time. When you become bored, you just start a new game and you killing your time instantly. But it's become extremely boring to play when you do it every day.
Even though the game is completely free, I will rate it like any other game I spend time on. And to tell the truth, this is a good puzzle game, with interesting gameplay mechanics, a minimalistic and pleasant design, and a good musical accompaniment (although now it is extremely difficult for me to remember it)
However, as is the case with most puzzle games on non-portable consoles, I got bored very quickly playing it. All the same, such games have a place on portable consoles, rather than on the Xbox 360 or backward compatibility on the Xbox Series S, like mine. Jigsaw puzzle games should be at the level of "Catharina", no less. But you can still play Hexic HD for a while. Glory to Ukraine!
While it most likely is worth a shot for puzzle fans, there is little here for other players. Some of the games feel like they drag on too long, which is a weird feeling in such a game. The game has a nice aesthetic, and looks good in spite of it's simple graphics. However, there were some problems here, like locked gems blending in too well with normal ones, so that it is hard and confusing to spot them on the large board.
If you love block puzzles give it a go, for the rest of us, there are other puzzle games being more engaging than this.
Summary[Xbox Live Arcade] Hexic HD is the next puzzle hit from Alexey Pajitnov, the original creator of "Tetris." Rotate groups of three hexes to form clusters of like-colored tiles.
