  • Summary: When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are systematically eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. For Agent 47 it's business as usual, until suddenly he loses contact with The ICA. Sensing that he may be the next target, he travels to America, where he prepares to make a killing. Agent 47 is back and this time he's paid in cold, hard cash. How the money is spent will affect his passage through the game and the weapons at his disposal, resulting in a unique gameplay experience for each player. Powered by a new version of Io's stunning Glacier engine, Hitman: Blood Money delivers the most brutal and realistic simulation of life as the world's deadliest assassin. [Eidos Interactive] Expand

  1. This episode has more depth than the two previous follow- ups, and its developer, IO Interactive, has introduced many intelligent refinements.

If this review hasn’t sold you, at least give the game a hire. Hitman: Blood Money will keep you on the edge of your seat through each diehard mission.
  3. In the end, Hitman: Blood Money does come out on top as the best title in the series. Blood Money makes up for most of its faults and shortcomings by offering a load of new features and entirely new ways of completing mission objectives.
  4. For those who haven't enjoyed Hitman games in the past, this game probably won't change your mind - not much has changed. However, if you've been waiting for another chapter in the Hitman series, this is certainly the finest thus far.
  5. Depth way beyond that of any other action game released this year, sleek presentation and some of the best levels ever created in a video game.
  6. The only problem I find are that of the traditional but unwieldy inventory, and the context-based button presses which can often find you swapping outfits when you really wanted to haul the dead body away.
  7. The gameplay can get glitchy, with flaws like jumpy video and bad physics and a point-of-view camera that sometimes shows bad angles.

The perfect assassination game. The AI is brilliant and there are tens of ways to eliminate each target. And the news papers after each mission are faun to read. Expand

Intelligent game, that really does give you a huge range of options per mission. The guns blazing option is a big no-no on the higher diffiulties, or even the later stages on the easiest difficulty - you have to consider every move carefully, who may stumble across the mess you make, will it benefit you to murder that person, can you just sneak by, dressed as a guard, or in one case, clown, instead.
    A must play.

Having only played the first hitman game and dumping it within a few days due to poor controls i was happy to find out the controls have been revised and IMHO benefit the game greatly. It really is an assassination game and playing it like a FPS will oftern end up with you hitting the canvas pretty quickly. This game will reward you for your patience and although sometimes a little skirmish may be unavoidable the game is quite forgiving aslong as you can find a good hiding place till things cool down. The levels are well thought out and, in some cases, alot of fun to walk round. The music fits the game well and apart from a few minor flaws the gameplay is good. After finishing the game once i couldnt really bring myself to go back through it again so the replay value isnt great but there are worst things you can spend £50 on for this console. Expand

It's not a bad game, I don't think it's the best though. The graphics are fairly good. Gameplay in my opinion is a step-down in the 'Hitman' series. Contracts was the best one out the series, this one. Just doesn't seem right. There is something about it that doesn't suit. The controllers do take some time to get used to. I am about 2 hours in now, and it doesn't have the same feel as the other games. I'd suggest renting before buying. Expand

Another PS2-XBOX-XBOX 360 port. Bland graphics, bad animations and wonky controls and animations. The A.I. is absolutely retarded and atrocious. People say it's soooo open ended, but in the end if you don't do the levels the exact right way, you will fail or die repeatedly. Skip it and buy an actual 360 game or an Arcade game like Geometry Wars since even it looks better. Expand
