Nov 16, 201191Delivers the most fully realized vision of Rowling's world that our medium has seen. TT Games has once again raised their own bar when it comes to splitscreen co-op. Fans of the books and movies will find immeasurable joy in exploring the iconic locales with their favorite characters that have become so ingrained in the pop-culture lexicon over the past 15 years.
-
Dec 22, 201190Probably the best LEGO game that was ever released by the guys over at TT Games. Potter fans, here's the epic conclusion you've been looking forward to.
-
Nov 23, 201190LEGO Harry Potter: Year 5-7 is one of the best co-op experiences that you will have all year, matched only by the co-op levels in Portal 2. It is more of the same, but sometimes more of the same is just what is needed.
-
Dec 6, 201187It's all that we hoped for: many hours of fun, great coop and countless riddles. A high replay value, too, as some side quests aren't even completable without the right character. Rarely has the gaming universe seen a better final part to a series.
-
Dec 5, 201187This game brings the right amount of humor, and the right amount of interactivity to make it a winner, and probably the best game of the entire Lego franchise so far.
-
Nov 16, 201185It's not a particularly complex or challenging game, but it is charming, addictive, funny, and a joy to play.
-
Nov 28, 201183LEGO Harry Potter Years 5 – 7 is a terrific culmination of the Harry Potter storyline, and a perfect addition to the LEGO franchise. Entertaining for the young and old alike, it is a game the whole family will enjoy. Fans of the books and films will love the fan service Travellers Tales doles out, and veteran gamers will enjoy the finely tuned gameplay.
-
Dec 5, 201182If you're a Harry Potter fan, a Lego fan, or you are looking for a fun pick up and play game, this is an excellent one.
-
Nov 23, 201182Those who love the Lego license or just need a fresh Potter fix are in for a bewitching good time.
-
Dec 16, 201181Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 follows the formula of the LEGO Series, and is probably the best game ever made about Harry Potter. Although the formula has aged and has been used many times, and this entry brings few new features, it is as enjoyable and fun as ever, and accesible for all players.

Jan 10, 201280The magic hasn't worn off yet. [Jan 2012, p.102]
-
Dec 5, 201180Another year, another LEGO game and another success… but after that, please Traveller's Tales, give us something a little different.
-
Dec 2, 201180There's so much to do in this game, it's easy to forget the world around you. Unfortunately, LEGO: Harry Potter: Years 5-7 lacks in originality compared to earlier LEGO titles, but the real LEGO fan shouldn't be bothered by this. Without a doubt, this is one of the best games in the LEGO series to date. Yes that's right, we were under its spell.
-
Nov 28, 201180Harry Potter's latest adventure in colourful block land is a fun and varied way to end the series.
-
Nov 24, 201180Traveller's Tales wanted to make Harry Potter's latest adventure his best, and they succesfully made it. This chapter delivers exactly what fans are looking for, that is - tons of spells, unlockable content, +200 characters and plenty of fun for any follower of this franchise.
-
Nov 18, 201180Lego Harry Potter is a light and breezy way for fans of all ages to experience the world of Harry Potter in a new way.
-
Nov 18, 201180All told, there's weeks of fun in this package. As you'd expect. It's fun and funny. As you'd expect. I'm utterly hooked. As you'd expect. Can we have Lego Matrix next? Please?
-
Nov 18, 201180Thanks to the strength of its stories, its fat pack of content and its irresistible charm, even those initially resistant to the prospect of another three terms at Hogwarts are likely to be won over.
-
Nov 17, 201180We never got tired of watching blocks whirl around in the air to form new objects, stupefying everything in sight, or sitting through the often hilarious cutscenes.
-
Dec 28, 201178Hogwarts is the most alive environment TT ever created. [Feb 2012, p.106]
-
Dec 19, 201175A solid game that will plese all LEGO and Harry Potter lovers, but it doesn't add anything new to TT Games' formula.
-
Dec 7, 201175A Lego game is a Lego game is a Lego game. Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 has everything that makes a Lego game a Lego game, and exactly nothing else.
-
Nov 22, 201175LEGO Harry Potter 5-7 is a charming farewell to the series. As with a lot of Traveller's Tales' games, you won't see a whole lot of crazy gameplay innovations or surprises, but it's reliably entertaining and appropriate for a wide range of gamers, Potterphiles or not.
-
Nov 17, 201175Be prepared for a bit of disappointment, though. While Years 1–4 had something new hiding behind every doorway, much of this sequel feels too familiar.
-
Jan 23, 201270Once again, the Lego version of Harry Potter is neither a revolution nor anything close to it, but an enjoyable adventure that's accessible for anyone, regardless of their gaming experience.
-
Jan 10, 201270A bit more imagination would have been preferable, but you're more than getting your money's worth. [Issue#80, p.85]
-
Dec 20, 201170A solid piece of work with small cubes and a very positive attitude to the piece that takes itself too seriously.
-
Nov 30, 201170Despite being the fact that it's pretty much the same game since the first chapter in the saga, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 keeps working, thanks to an immediate and solid gameplay and a variety of situations that explores every aspect of the Movies.
-
Nov 21, 201170The aging formula may be getting by purely on charm at this point, but this is still the best Harry Potter game ever made - Lego or not.
-
Nov 19, 201170Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 manages to turn dark material into something lighthearted and fun, but it never quite achieves the magical goofiness that its predecessor does.
-
Nov 19, 201168It's not that there isn't a lot to do. It's that there isn't a whole lot of reason to do most of it, and what is worth doing is locked behind hours of dull, introductory gameplay.
-
Jan 6, 201267It does a fabulous job of translating the Harry Potter universe into the LEGO vernacular, with all the frolicsome fun that implies; however, by implementing too many kinds of interactive prompt and by failing to provide enough player feedback, it sets the stage for an interactive experience that's equal parts fun and befuddlement.
-
Dec 2, 201167Despite how much I find myself enjoying the majority of the LEGO games, I find Harry Potter putting me pretty close to my breaking point. The series is incredibly formulaic at this point, and while I loved the magic and exploration aspects of the first Harry Potter adventure, this just feels like more of the same.
-
Feb 15, 201265A series, and a game, that seems to have lost a remarkable amount of lustre and just doesn't feel as interesting to play through as some of it's peers. The story is drab and drawn out, plus the tasks that litter the game are overly simplistic even for a kids title. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is still better than any number of kids titles and movie tie ins, but otherwise this is a major disappointment for fans of LEGO games and Potter alike, and just doesn't have that spark of magic that you would expect.
-
Dec 19, 201140There's something redeeming about the LEGO humor that can help us older Harry Potter fans smile through some of the pain, but it certainly is no remedy for all this game's woes.
