  • Summary: LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run. Pop culture's most iconic archeologist whips through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the LEGO Star Wars games. [LucasArts] Expand

  1. LEGO Indiana Jones is absolutely worth playing, especially if you want to introduce young children to the series without scaring the hell out of them with the ending to "Raiders."
  2. Lego Indy doesn’t vary much in scope and content from the previous titles that the pair have worked on, but it’s still a fun game to play and a smart take on the game-from-a-movie process, which more times than not turns out to be lacking in the “game” portion. Most of all, it makes me wonder what they’ll team up on next.
  3. The addictive gameplay, well-rendered graphics (even on an aged system), easy control scheme, innovative cooperative features and tons of replay value make for a winner.

Even if you make only one trip through LEGO Indiana Jones, it'll be a great ride.
  5. Prepare for some frustrating deaths. [July 2008, p.79]
  6. If you enjoyed the Lego Star Wars games and didn’t feel that they were getting tired by the end of the second game, then you’ll love this release.
  7. After Lego Batman comes out, though, I hope Traveller’s Tales takes a good look at where its Lego games are going and makes the tweaks and additions necessary to keep the franchise relevant.

I thought this game to be very fun. The puzzles were cool and playing Indiana Jones in a humorous perspective was a refreshing way to relive the movies. Lots of bonuses and replay value here. Expand

I liked the Lego Star Wars games, but with Indy, i don't think it was as good. First as much as i like the Indiana Jones films, the characters aren't quite as memorable. The gameplays good, although sometimes it's difficult to realise what your meant to do at some points. I think Lego Star Wars is the better choice, if you want a lego game. Expand

I've only seen the Temple of Doom all the way through and that was after I beat and sold this game. This is a solid Lego title that even with out having seen any of the films is enjoyable. Expand

To tell the truth, I really didn't enjoy this version of the Lego series, few fun parts were nice and very well made. But with the other versions and in comparison , Lego Indiana Jones fall and hit very hard in the ground for the big boring levels. Even with this problems of habbits , is worth checking out. Expand

Easily my least favorite out of the recent Lego games. Lego Batman, Lego Harry Potter, and the Lego Star Wars games are all superior to the Lego Indiana Jones game. I love the Indiana Jones movies, but it just didn't translate well for a Lego game. Expand

Lego Indiana Jones while fun and packed with content doesn't do much to stand out from the other lego games that I've played before. The humor is most welcome, but everything I did (with the exception of vehicles and whips) is exactly the same. This can be a nice distraction, but I left unfulfilled. The graphics were the same with the exception of more lifelike areas and models, the sound and goofiness of the series has been faithfully translated into Indiana Jones lore. I played with a partner through most of the time, but all we could think was a reskinned lego star wars that manages to pull off a few laughs in the end. Sometimes that's enough to have a good time, but enough for full price. Expand
