Monday Night Combat Image
  • Summary: [Xbox Live Arcade] Monday Night Combat is a class-based, third-person shooter ... and the most popular lethal sport of the future! It blends intense combat, finishing moves, and gameshow-like challenges and rewards to produce an action experience unlike any other. Why fight for "honor" or "duty" when you can fight for the real American dream - cash, fame and endorsements? Expand

  1. And that's what Monday Night Combat is -- an enjoyable team based shooter, and for 1200 points ($15) it's hard to ask for much more than that.
  2. A fun mix of Team Fortress 2 and Defense of the Ancients. The seemingly odd mix works well, and along with the low price and the ease of accessibility, Monday Night Combat is a unique offering on Xbox Live Arcade: a shooter that doesn't loudly claim to be the new challenger to Modern Warfare 2's throne, bur rather is content with being its own thing. If Uber Entertainment keeps on adding content and fine tuning the balancing, this should keep fans of team based shooters happy for a long while.

  1. Despite some issues regarding a somewhat unstable framerate, Monday Night Combat provides you with an endlessly entertaining class-based shooter/ tower defense game. Expand

  2. Ironicly, this rip-off of Unreal Tournament uses the Unreal engine. However unlike Unreal Tournament, this game offers little in the way of entertainment. Easy and highly repetitive, the game never attracted me, and I must say that I didn't buy it, and the demo didn't last that long on my hard drive. Expand

  3. This game has potential, but however fails to deliver and ultimately is a waste of 1200 points. I was very keen to see how MNC would copy and add to the Team Fortress gameplay, the result was a generic and somewhat confusing mess that is fun for ten minutes only! I brought this on impulse, so don't make the same mistake and give it a miss! Expand
