  1. The beautifully rendered graphics are amazing and keep you in awe. The voiceovers match their counterparts and make you feel like your watching the TV series. The controls are tight and responses, except for the occasional platforming sections where things can get unnecessarily difficult due to some jumping issues.
  2. I've thoroughly enjoyed playing Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. I find the character to be an excellent balance of oddball wacko, to someone you feel and care for.
  3. It is remarkable how much hard work has been put into a game that will generally only appeal to fans of the original subject matter.
  4. 80
Although the game is short, it manages to stay fresh thanks to the way new areas and moves are doled out.
  5. Rise of a Ninja defies categorization with its open-world structure, RPG pacing, and eccentric mix of min-games and one-on-one combat. [Dec 2007, p.74]
  6. Rise of a Ninja is decent for what it is, in that it's a solid first attempt at the Naruto franchise on a modern console.
  7. 60
Even with all these hiccups, there’s still a solid combination of adventuring and fighting to be found here. And the sense of progression--going from a lowly no-skilled friendless ninja to a super awesome friendless ninja--is handled well in terms of what powers you get and when you get them.

I really wish this game had more hype. It's creative, fun, interesting, captivating, etc. Much better than these violent WAR games everybody is playing. And these medieval LOTR wanna-be games are just getting old too! This game is so refreshing, it's emotional, educational, the graphics are so freaking VIBRANT! I think everyone should be playing this game. Oh! And it has clips from the anime series, which is really good too! You should also check that out, it helps you get into the game a little bit more. 1. Back from the dead. I thought that the series was pretty much lost, but this game has made the great comeback! The game play is very well done along with the graphics and use of cut scenes. I find myself forgetting to play the game sometimes cause I am watching the game unfold. Very great game from a great company! A must have in the game library. Expand

The water in the game makes me thirsty. That's how realistic the graphics are. The forest makes me want to go hiking. THhe village makes me want to go mingle with my neighbors. The game is intensely immersive, and the search for new missions, talking to people, secret items, online fight mode - all these things make the game extremely intersting. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes ANY kind of game! Expand
