  1. A dazzling array of showmanship, visual glitz, and a hefty dose of fun make this an absolute must-play.
  2. For the next iteration, we want the option to turn off the sepia tone and more gameplay modes, but the gameplay itself is nearly perfect.
  3. An excellent arcade-sports title that knows no equal on next-gen consoles. It's more user-friendly than ever, has a killer single-player mode, and its online play will only make you keep it cemented into your Xbox 360 that much longer.
  4. The game is a feast for the senses with great graphics and fantastic audio although replay value is reduced by the fact that you are doing virtually the exact same thing game in and game out, regardless of game play mode.
  5. Homecourt may bear only a passing resemblance to real basketball, but it is tremendous fun, even if you never have to the pass the game controller behind your back or toss it in the air.
  6. Homecourt looks, sounds and plays greatly, but it seems they lost the essence of what made V3 so phenomenal.
  7. Graphically stunning and sonically amazing, the gameplay lets it down for me. In multiplayer, there is fun to be had, but the single player challenge is a long, hard slog that is pitted with dodgy AI and too many anomalies.

I am not a basketball fan and don't like sports games all that much but after the demo I decided to give the game a shot...well was I shocked in how nice the game play is amazing and the graphics are almost a nice edgey look not what I was expecting and the feel and replay value is right up there with the likes of vegas, graw, and burnout overall I recommend this game to everyone. I picked this game up for Xbox about a week ago and can't begin to express how impressed I am with it. My friends and I have been playing it like mad and all agree it is probably the most FUN we've had with a sports game EVER. I think this one will be a staple in my collection for years to come, like Madden 04. I highly recommend this game to everyone and anyone who is even thinking about picking it up - you will not be disappointed. Expand

The new gameplay controls are the best thing. But what's up with the level up and single player mode? nothing special there. v3 single player was waay cooler. Expand

If you love the NBA, this isn't the game for you. It's more Harlem Globetrotters on amphetamines; in other words, it's a part of a continued progression to divorce sports video games from the sports themselves. But it does play fairly well and has style, so if you want to see what it would be like if Jason Kidd could dunk, or if basketball rules were more like weak guidelines, you might find it worthwhile, if short. I don't know... Maybe I'm just tired of street basketball, or maybe I'm just tired of EA's games. Street starts out being exciting and different. But in a short time it just gets boring. I liked the first few street games and played them to death. But this one just feels like I played it all too much! Expand

Found this to be mostly over hyped. Animations are great, but the control design is rather shallow and whoever designed this one didn't think about making it fun for more than 10 minutes. Expand
