NFL Blitz is one of the best, if not the best arcade sports experiences on the market.

No, NFL Blitz isn't PRECISELY the same as its old counterpart, because, yep, we do miss the late hits. But it's as good as arcade football gets, a must-have Xbox Live game that easily overshadows Madden NFL Arcade as our favorite go-to sports game. It really goes well with NBA Jam: On Fire Edition.

Exactly what it needs to be: stupid good fun. The only thing it's missing is that old pizza parlor smell.

  1. If you like the old blitz games you will love this. Online play is fun, nothing like schooling someone blitz style. The only thing missing is late hits and that holds it from a 10 for me Expand

  2. Great fun game to play with anyone who remotely likes football. I have always been just plain bad at sports games switching them out with GOW3 and BF3 but this is a great pick up and play game with much to do for 15 dollers! Expand

  3. Fantastic fun!!! The gameplay and controls are smooth and the sound is great. The visuals are over the top, but really match the Blitz line of games. If you are looking for a simulation...go play Madden. This is a near perfect remake of the old arcade game with slightly updated rosters. There are some obvious flaws in the line ups...but nothing a Blitz fan would balk at. Does Michael Vick throw right handed in the game? Sure...but who cares? This is a $15 game that could have been tweaked slightly and sold for $50. Expand
