The perfect pinball table. Everything is the same as it should be, but the newness in the table is so addictive, I can't stop playing it.

While there is no "real" narrative throughout the game, dialogue, or story to be told, some of Epic Quest's advanced ideas that do work well make for a nice foundation for other games like it to come in the future. For a $2.50 you'd be a fool to pass up not only a new way to play the game of pinball, but a solid and addicting table to join the already impressive assortment created by the Zen Studios team. Well done lads, you've done it again.

Epic Quest may not be as ambitious as I would have liked, but it shows the developers aren't afraid to try something new. The end result is an enjoyable diversion from the usual pinball madness. If this is the future for Pinball FX 2, then Zen Studios officially has my attention!

This persistence is Epic Quest's most notable feature. Think of it as an experiment in building an ongoing leveling system onto a single table.

Pinball FX 2's Epic Quest board seems like an absolutely marvelous way for a pinball newbie with an interest in giving it a shot to explore the genre. It eases a lot of the problems that would turn many of us off, while adding some clever new elements that deserve appreciation.

My much older cousin owned a coin operated machine store on good old Woodward Avenue. I remember spending hours there playing Ms. Pacman and Donkey Kong on his machines, for free of course. But if there is one thing that stood above those, I remember Pinball. Now, with this expansion to Pinball FX 2 on Xbox 360, Epic Quest, I can see how the game of Pinball can be taken to the next level. Expand
