  • Summary: The PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER franchise has long been regarded as offering incredible realism and control, however PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2011 will reinvigorate the series with the most advanced set of improved gameplay additions, control options and to catch up with the evolution of the real-life soccer. Central to its total freedom of play, PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2011 introduces a power bar for each player that allows the user to determine the exact strength and placement of every pass and shot. Balls can now be spread absolutely anywhere with surgical precision, with long balls into space, short passes to feet, and intricate one-twos allowing the player to dictate play and control the tempo of a match. PES 2011 continues the Pro Evolution Soccer revolution that started with last years instalment and delivers a playing experience that long term fans of the franchise are more accustomed to. With all the improvements it easy to say this is the best PES game in years.
  2. The newest edition of the PES franchise is a great soccer simulation with a revamped and very realistic passing system. The defense AI is doing a better job now and goalkeepers are also acting smarter than they used to. However the new AI shows some flaws from time to time as well. The often too pedantic referee decisions were also getting on our nerves on a regular basis. As far as licensed teams are concerned PES 2011 is far behind its rival FIFA Soccer 11.
  3. This year, Pro Evolution Soccer fans are being treated to the best entry the series has seen in quite some time. Ultimately though, the adjustable gameplay is still a bit too arcade-like for simulation fans to take seriously, and the lack of authentic clubs is a deal breaker for many.
  4. While FIFA 11 may be the better, more polished and controllable simulation of football, in many respects PES 2011 is the more charismatic of the two games. If you're only interested in the finished article then you might want to wait another year for further progress, but in the meantime PES fans can hold their heads high, and fans of the beautiful game are on the road to being spoiled for choice again in light of this encouraging instalment.

The game is very good. Beautiful graphics, realistic control and a lot of interesting innovations. This is soccer simulator, not beautiful tv translation control. Expand
  2. No need to elaborate this. Simple recipe from Konami kitchen that we consume for years. Of course there are flaws but i spent so many hours playing this that it would be at least inappropriate to comment on those. Must have for everyone who loves real soccer experience. Expand
  3. Better than previous versions of PES. It's not great, but this is the path to go. It's more fun to play against someone this than FIFA.

    Lack

  4. With the new spasctic physics engine, Konami shot itself in the head. TERRIBLE game with various flaws, stupid shooting system and offering no fun at all if you played PES 6 or PES 2010 before. Expand
