  1. The gameplay is challenging and enjoyable and I would spend 1200 MS points in a heartbeat for Rocket Knight.
  2. This is a remarkable example of a series reboot, which remains faithful to the source material while making changes that increased its enjoyment tenfold. I recommend this game to anyone who has ever enjoyed a platformer in their life.
  3. The perfect example for developers looking to resurrect old series. [Issue#60, p.107]
  4. Rocket Knight is a solid revival of a classic Genesis franchise, but it suffers from a tragically short lifespan and high price tag.
  5. It's a decent revival of an old title, but at 1200 MS points it's really not worth the price of admission.
  6. Clunky controls. [July 2010, p.79]
  7. But once those colourful environments are replaced with dull mechanical labs, and the few rocket pack-related ideas presented in the first stage are reused ad infinitum, any initial enthusiasm is dispelled quickly.

A fun game but a little pricey.
