  1. The gameplay is challenging and enjoyable and I would spend 1200 MS points in a heartbeat for Rocket Knight.

ocket Knight is one of the best downloadable games available and Climax, and Konami deserve all the acclaim they are bound to get from it.
  3. Rocket Knight is a retro platformer with outstanding gameplay, even if it is overpriced and a little short.
  4. Rocket Knight is a solid revival of a classic Genesis franchise, but it suffers from a tragically short lifespan and high price tag.
  5. Rocket Knight certainly bares it's 16-bit brethren well, taking an interesting character with plenty of uniqueness and not spoiling it with a remake and re-visioning.
  6. Rocket Knight comes back with good old school platform moments and nice graphics, but despite the intense rhythm, ends up being too short, and too expensive.
  7. But once those colourful environments are replaced with dull mechanical labs, and the few rocket pack-related ideas presented in the first stage are reused ad infinitum, any initial enthusiasm is dispelled quickly.

A fun game but a little pricey.
