  1. SEGA has served up as a great sequel, fixing problems with Virtua Tennis 3 though going that step further with an extended SPT Tour.
  2. This is still a solid tennis game but it is also one that offers almost no improvement over its predecessor.
  3. A solid effort that just does not live up to the great first Virtua Tennis.
  4. Simply put: do not buy Virtua Tennis 2009. There is absolutely no reason to buy this over the superior (and cheaper) VT3.

As a party/arcade mess around game then it's a triumph, as a full retail price indepth sequel with loads of extras then it fails miserably. Same shite game mechanics where getting in position is more to do with fortunate then skill, same dull lay out, and even worse career mode. This game is almost average, so don't waste your money on Sega's cash in attempt. Expand
