  • Summary: On the Xbox 360, Warhammer: Battle March includes the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos as well as all-new features, intuitive control schemes and support for online play via the Xbox LIVE. Thrusting players into Games Workshop's renowned fantasy world, players control six unique armies – the Empire, Chaos, Skaven, High Elves as well as the all-new Dark Elf and Orcs & Goblins forces – as they battle for supremacy in a world torn apart by constant warfare. The individual units of each army can be customized in great detail, allowing players to put their own mark on their fighting force and strike fear into their opponents with terrifying combinations of weaponry and armor. Players can also control Heroes and Champions for each army, high-powered units that gain new abilities as they tear through the opposition. Placing the focus of gameplay on combat and tactics rather than tedious resource management, Warhammer: Battle March on the Xbox 360 features two control schemes for both master battlefield tacticians and novice warriors that offer full control over all aspects of the player’s army. On Xbox LIVE, up to four players can engage in massive multi-army clashes in head-to-head and team-based modes of play. [Namco Bandai Games] Expand

With a substantial campaign mode, excellent online and a great customization aspect Namco Bandai's latest is one of the better attempts at the genre on a console.
  2. If you’re a battle-strategy addict, prepare to not leave the house for a week. If you’re a graphics whore, though, you’ll probably chuck.
  3. Creating your own army, and then constantly improving it with the spoils of skirmishes against live foes, is what will keep players coming back for more. With a more streamlined control system, and some tidier graphics, Battle March could be one of the best console strategy games. As it stands, it's strictly for the hardcore.
  4. Warhammer: Battle March alienates mainstream gamers with its unfriendly mission structure, drab graphics and confusing control scheme.

Played the game for a couple of days now. It's just flat out fun. The controls do take some getting used to, but are not as bad as the gamespot review made it out to be. If you're a fan of the table top game or just Warhammer in general, then this is a must buy for you. Expand

Decent RTS for consoles. The controls take a a few minutes to adjust to but they're definitely manageable. If you're looking for something similar to the Total War series this will be right down your alley. Expand

Decent game so far.... difficult control scheme but it's becoming much more intuitive. If you're a Warhammer fan it's definitely worth a look. Expand
