WRC: World Rally Championship 2 does a bit more to become accessible to new and casual players, but in truth it is a game for real fans of the sport, those who really want a full on challenge. It isn't going to grab the DIRT crowd, but it is the best rally simulation on consoles today.

The racing itself is decent, if not quite as exciting as you'd hope, and while it ticks all the boxes, the overall production still feels a little threadbare. [Issue#65, p.91]

Possibly the most technically realised rally experience available on console. [Issue#102, p.115]

As it is, there's a fundamentally exciting and feature-heavy driving game here, but one burdened just enough by small niggles to bring us down. [Issue#65, p.92]

  1. This is a solid Rally game. It is not ruined by over presentation like the DIRT games, it is just a Rally game in the same vein as the old Colin Mcrae games. Huge amount of tracks ( full wrc calender ) and good selection of cars. It is not the best looking game but it feels right. Expand
