When m07games games advertised GunWorld 2 as ""The sequel no one asked for, to the game that nobody liked!" they were not joking. The part they forgot to mention was that they were charging four times the amount they asked for the first with improvements being minimal and, at points game breaking. The part they forgot to mention was that they were charging four times the amount they asked for the first with improvements being minimal and, at points game breaking. Graphically this is one of those "retro" games but somehow this title fails to meet the standards that were expected on the Commodore 64. The sound is acceptable, and one of the reasons I scored a 3 instead of a 2. The gameplay is boring and overly repetitive with areas in the game that just stall and require reboot. Do yourself a favor and avoid wasting your money on this garbage. Buy a cup of coffee or a few tacos. You will enjoy them more than this forgettable game. Expand

I appreciate a game that attempts to hark back to the age of difficult games, especially when the source material is some of the most beloved games from the era, but in regards to GunWorld 2, it can be quite confusing and frustrating at times.

It is slightly above average, and has a niche all of its own. A very small one too.

This is a game purely for the faithful who want a return to the days of old-fashioned hardcore Nintendo games. Folks who like modern day advances such as auto-saves, adjustable difficulty and the like should probably skip this if they want to keep their temper under control.
