  1. You'll never catch me playing this game in the arcades but having DDR on my Xbox ready to humiliate myself in the privacy of my own home is undeniable fun.
  2. My only complaint would be that I would have liked more songs that I recognized and more dance/techno music.
  3. If you don't care as much about getting really into the dancing however, the basic pad is just fine.
  4. Konami ups the ante with more songs, even bigger Live support and more challenging gameplay. Nothing too revolutionary, but a fun DDR sequel nonetheless.
  5. Pelit (Finland)
A splendid dancing game although the new hit songs mostly suck and some the other songs have been recycled over and over again. Plus there are not that many new ideas compared to Unleashed 2. [Apr 2006]
  6. Ultramix 3 adds some new content in the way of new gameplay modes, but none of the modes are really any better than vanilla DDR-which means there's really no added value.
  7. It seems that Konami knows that the novelty of the gameplay has worn off and made a number of attempts to freshen things up a tad. Unfortunately, those attempts severely fall flat and what you're left with is a game you've seen a dozen times over, just with a new soundtrack.
  8. Official Xbox Magazine UK
A quality party game, so it's a real shame that the biggest new feature - the Quest mode - is so poor. And good though it is, it's only worth getting if you missed the previous one or you're an obsessive completist. [April 2006, p.86]
  9. Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 incorporates a bunch of new modes and switches up the songlist, but for many less-than-expert players will seem a little too similar to previous games.
  10. What fans of the series have grown to expect, new songs and a few extra modes.
  11. If you're still charmed in the slightest by the Dance Dance Revolution franchise, then Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 will likely put a big grin on your face, and if you're anything like me, it'll complement those unstylish dance moves just fine.

The quset mode is great, adn all the new modes and stuff are cool, but I would have liked to see a better song list. Its a bit too Ghetto.

Exaclty what the fans are looking for! Some may say that Konami doesn't change anything around, but IT'S A DDR GAME! There's Exaclty what the fans are looking for! Some may say that Konami doesn't change anything around, but IT'S A DDR GAME! There's no need for anything new! The fun of it comes from clearing difficult songs and showing off! Full Review »
