  • Summary: Enter the Matrix features awesome gunplay and spectacular martial arts that bend the rules of the Matrix, insane driving and stunts, and the chance to pilot the fastest hovercraft in the fleet. This game isn't just set in the Matrix universe--it's an integral part of the entire Matrix experience, with a story that weaves in and out of The Matrix: Reloaded, the second chapter of the movie trilogy. Enter the Matrix is the story behind the story. Expand

  1. The hacking option is truly a unique and amazing way to add additional interactivity into the game as well discover bonus content.
  2. Merely an okay game that benefits greatly from its movie license. [June 2003, p.106]
  3. For fanz of the Matrix and those that must simply figure what the Matrix really is, will pick up Enter the Matrix and have a blast. For everyone else, Enter the Matrix is an above-average action game with some cool moves and awesome production values (but repetitive).
  4. I felt like I was getting more of the movie's story, but playing through this was an aggravating chore. It's a rental, please don't buy it.

The hacking area was really useful when you are stuck on a level or you feel like blowing someones brains out. I do think it is a fun challanging game. Expand

To matrix fans, GET THIS GAME!!! this unwraps the story and also is entertaining to watch. The gameplay is alright, the first time its fun, but rather boring and predictible the second time round. The storyline was obviously the focus. And seeing the plot from two characters is great. But this ain't no Resident Evil, And Resident Evil ain't this. This is the Matrix, have you taken the red pill? Expand

Ya know, I actually had a lot of fun playing this game. Yeah, the gameply was lacking in some areas, and the character control wasn't what it should have been, but it was actually better than I expected it to be (movie license games are usually traumatic experiences). Also, if you're a fan of the movie, you'll enjoy the layer of depth it adds to the Matrix story. Altogether, a pretty cool game (not $50 cool, but cool). Expand
