  1. The team-based elements are great, calling to mind X-Men Legends. Unfortunately, the game lacks depth and feels pretty linear, making the adventure short lived overall.
  2. This was definitely a labor of love and it shows in the quality of the presentation and the attention to detail in every subtle nuance of the characters, their powers, and the way it all comes together in the gameplay.
  3. Fantastic 4 offers four characters, a repertoire of moves, and compelling level design that culminate in an engaging game. The production values are good, thanks in no small part to the authentic voice acting.
  4. Aside from the lack of four player action, Fantastic Four is a well crafted title that fills the void until "Rise of Apocalypse" hits the shelves later this year.
  5. A pretty decent game that isn't anything spectacular, but for fans of the movie and people that enjoy bash-em shoot-em type of games involving multiple players will definitely enjoy the game.
  6. Game Informer
In what seems like a profoundly misguided step, four players can't play as the Fantastic Four. [Sept 2005, p.101]

Didn't like it much... Awkward controls and group battles make for confusing game play - Also, villans seem too easy to defeat.
