In this captivating outing, 47 revisits the past while modernizing the nagging flaws of his previous games, making for his best trail of assassinations yet.
  2. If you really enjoyed those previous missions, and I know I did, then you will really enjoy the new ways in which you can approach them. The new graphics engine and some more 'weight' to the story make for a more immersive game which is punctuated by a great new music score.

It's got a nice open-ended style, a character that fits the gimmick, and plenty of violence.
  4. An ambitious release for IO, but the end result is a garbled mess of a game that has lost its way. [June 2004, p.122]

Yes, this is the best hitman yet. But it's still not perfect, or very evolved for that matter. The AI bugs me. It's too random and leads to some tedious trial and error. Having your cover blown when no one [alive] has seen you is ridiculous. I mean should everyone know exactly what you're wearing just b/c they found the body of someone you killed? If anything, the stealth elements should be made easier than real life - not more difficult. Expand

A solid stealth action game, but sadly it feels less like a sequel and more like an expansion pack for Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.
