Fights are fast and furious, and there’s no shortage of splashy, flashy special effects.

At times moves at speeds that will have you saying “Wow” and delivers a great game.
  3. The Xbox controller, even if you’re using the S-type controller, isn’t suited for a game like this, which really needs six thumb buttons. You can compensate with the trigger sticks, but not well.
  4. Does a good job of topping the other hit Capcom fighter, "Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO." It provides better control with more familiar characters, as well as adding the tagging feature.
  5. An obsolete 3-year-old fighting game that doesn't even support online play as was originally promised.
  6. There's plenty to discover and see, but because it's almost just as easy to button bash as it is to perform the moves properly: the longevity is seriously affected.

A stale and astoundingly pixelated port of a two-year-old Dreamcast game. [Fall 2002, p.121]

The game is really fun but it's hard to beat the first few times in arcade and the score attack is pretty cheap.

This game is extreme if you want a non-stop fighting game which I could play for hours.

This game has all u could ever want, its pure class! i would av given it 10 if not for the stupidly corny jazz music.

I love these characters. The xbox d pad isn't really good enough for proper control in this game, but otherwise it's a solid game. I love these characters.
