  1. NASCAR 06: Total Team Control isn't able to surpass the overall greatness of last year's game but with all the new additions this is one is downright enjoyable and a step in the right direction for the series.
  2. The team control aspect does get addicting and hard to put down. The fact that the game can be adjusted for each level of experience is also an added bonus.

  10. If you consider yourself a series NASCAR fan, you must own NASCAR 06. This is the game you have been waiting for and offers more game play options than you can handle. Casual racing fans may be confused by the concept and might want to consider this a rental at best.

  12. The relationship dynamics could have felt a bit more natural, especially when opponents overreact to the slightest bump and teammates take the offensive when they claim to be working together.

  14. I can't tell a true die-hard racing fan if the car setups will provide the depth and accuracy that they are looking for. But I can tell gaming fans that NASCAR 06 is very good title. I think the depth and replay ability alone are worth a look.

  19. While this year's model shows improvement, it could still be better. The graphics are a bit ragged and online play is still limited to four players in a race. But, as NASCAR gaming goes, it doesn't get any better.
  20. In addition to solid racing, there's just enough extras in this game from the hilarious agent, to the off-track drama and persona building that make this worth investing some time in.

  23. A solid game when viewed by itself, but the fact that "NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup" is identical except for a few new features is really disappointing.

    It's clogged up with new features and ideas that simply seem gratuitous. The emphasis on driving skill seems to have been diminished, and in its place the Tiburon team appears to have spent the last year asking "what more can we do to add something new to this thing?"

    The visuals are in need of an upgrade. It could be that EA is just phoning the graphics in until the next-gen systems arrive, and that's a shame. EA Trax is just as annoying as ever. Please stop it.
