  1. 9 / 9 / 9 / 9 - platinum [Sept 2004]
  2. Phantom Dust is worth every dime and nickel you put into it. Ironically it's only $19.99, so Phantom Dust won't be busting your wallet. Don't let the card-collecting stereotype scare you away.

Phantom Dust sets the bar for action games to come for this generation.
  4. While it feels dynamic for what is, essentially, an RPG of skill harvesting and exploiting, the end result is more about flexibility than exhilaration, more a colourfully-framed and extended session of rock-paper-scissors than any kind of rush. [June 2005, p.87]

  1. AMAZING soundtrack: Classical music with a twist. Great multiplayer experience and great story.
It's one downside: its VERY hard to play in m
ultiplayer on split screen because every single player MUST have played on it's own at least half an hour on that very Xbox console in order to even have an arsenal to play with. But really it's the only downside to it. Other than that a fantastic game. Expand

Easily worth it's $20 pricetag. It really is an awesome blend of strategy and action. With some tweaking, however, this one could have been a 10... Definitely one of the most unique games to come out on the XBox yet. Expand

While mildly original, the game doesn't hold up as thoroughly original. The story is horrible, though stylishly promoted. The game itself is mediocre and enjoyable for perhaps an evening. Buy this game used for no more than $8-$10. Expand
