87Shark Tale isnt aimed at me. That said, Im having a ball playing it with my wife. The game is squarely aimed at those who loved the recently-released movie but there is enough nostalgia there for the whole family to enjoy.
-
It's not groundbreaking, but it doesn't have to be. Kids don't care about that. They care about having fun playing it, and I think that is where Activision has succeeded here.

73Its really difficult to gauge exactly what level of gamer Shark Tale was created for. The first few chapters are so ridiculously easy that youd assume this would be a game just for kiddies. The difficulty level ramps up rather quickly and even experienced gamers will be challenged in later chapters.
-
There's no sense of achievement in clearing one of the game's "elite" missions without the faintest effort. [Dec 2004, p.90]
