  1. Throw in groan-inducing power-ups and uninspired graphics, and you'll be bored before the weekend's up. [Feb 2006, p.79]
  2. Ultimately, Shattered Union is just too frustrating to be enjoyable. Its accessibility problems are crippling and even after you've got to grips with how the game works, it still feels unbalanced and confusing. [Dec 2005, p.127]
  3. What kills this title for me, though, is the ridiculous emphasis on scouting. How am I supposed to conquer the continent when I can only see what's happening on 20 percent of any given battle map? [Jan 2006, p.138]

an average turn based strategy that is simple and does not have any new ideas but still it provides some good fun, also this game has the coolest opening sequence ever! Full Review »

Shattered Union is a very fun, turn-based wargame that anyone can enjoy. If you can find someone to play this with, it gets even more entertaining. The graphics and controls are good, but are a little hard to get used to at the start. Full Review »
