  1. Visually, it is incredible. The game play is solid and makes this game worth more than it’s weight in platinum.
  2. This game is, simply put, brilliant. The music is intoxicating, the locales magical and the overall vibe decidedly dreamy. [Dec 2003, p.77]
  3. The contrasting abilities of Sphinx and the Mummy make this a true two character game and not simply the same character with a different model and textures.
  4. An exceptionally well made game that smacks of style and polish.
  5. The controls aren't entirely perfect, but they function well enough to get players through the game without wanting to quit.
  6. 75
A schizophrenic but enjoyable combination of gameplay styles, and it's worth slogging through the solid Sphinx segments to savor the Mummy magic.
  7. Attempts to be a platform game heavy on the puzzles, but it's really just a boring platform game. It's too bad it's a video game and not a slide show, because playing the game is almost painfully boring at times despite the graphics.

I'm not much of an action/adventure/platformer type, but this is one of the best games of the type that I've played. Very enjoyable, killer graphics and tight gameplay. Biggest grip goes to the non dialogue, and there's A LOT of text to read, the only flaw in a truly awesome game. I'm hoping they make a sequel. -t Expand

Good game, but it wouldn't of hurt to put in co-operative play.

It feels like a very average platformer at first, but has some hilarious bits and great gameplay sequences mixed in.
